Husband of Mary Wanjiru Thuku (USA). Father of Moses Waweru Thuku (USA), Tinna Wanjiku Thuku (USA). Father-in-law of Recheal Ndungu Moses and Erick Kreme (USA). Grandfather of Kaylar Waweru, Rina Waweru, Eva Kreme, Ryan Njoroge all of U.S.A. Brother of Wairimu Njoroge – Kiambu, Ann Kabura Waweru Gatundu Hospital, John Karnau Waweru – Mang’u, George Kung’u Waweru – Mang’u, Jane Wanjiru Waweru – Kiambu, Josephine Wairimu Waweru – Gatundu, Lucy Kimani (USA), Bosco Kabata Waweru (USA), the late Dr. JJ Thuku, the late. Prof. FX Njenga, J.G Waweru – Advocate Thika, Caroline Githegi – Wangigi, Magadaline Mwihaki Karari Thika, James Thuku Waweru – Nairobi, Patrick Karuru Waweru – Mang’u, among others.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his parents home, Mutuma Village, Mang’u from 2pm.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Friday 31st March 2017 at 8 am, for the funeral service at St Anne’s Catholic Church. Thereafter he will be laid to rest at his fathers farm, Mutuma Village, Mang’u Location, Kamwangi Sub-county, Kiambu County.
