It is with deep sorrow and in acceptance of God’s will, that we announce the passing on of Grace Mutanu Kivanguli which occurred on Monday, 10th May 2021 following a short illness.

She was the daughter of Rev. Gregory Kivanguli Nzioka and Lydia Mukami Kivanguli. She was the sister to Eng. Joseph Kimanthi Kivanguli & Faith Muthoni Kimanthi; Dr. Salome Nkirote Muravvej & Dr. Suhail Muravvej; and Mercy Kagwiria Kivanguli. She was aunt to Sarina, Sabrina and Caleb. She was the grand daughter to the late Nzioka Muisu, the late Mueke Nzioka, the late Joshua M’Ikiara and Salome M’Ikiara. She was a niece, cousin, aunty and beloved friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily in Nairobi and Miumbuni.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral Home in Machakos on Friday, 14th May 2021 at 9:00 am and proceed to the family home in Miumbuni sub-location, Kathiani subcounty for the funeral service and burial. The burial ceremony will be in strict adherence to the COVID protocols and guidelines on gatherings during this period.

Sister of Fredrick Ngunjiri, Rose Wanja, Charity Wamaitha, Mercy Wanjiku, the late Alice Ngima, and Margaret Wanjiru.

Sister-in-law of the late John Kararu, Paul Mahehu, James Theuri, Josephine Kanyoria, Wangui Klbutu, Samuel Mwai and Daniel Karuria. Mother-in-law of Caroline, Susan, Steven, Regina and Pauline. Grandmother of Nicole, Simon, Tina, Elvis, Collins, Suzette and Peter (SA), Mercy, Peter, Collins, Joy and Mark Paul.

Family and friends are mooting daily at the family home in Kianyange, Gatung’ang’a, Nyeri from 4:00pm and In Nairobi at John Thagana’s residence In Muthaiga North, Parkside House No. 55, from 6:00pm.

The cortege leaves Mary Immaculate Hospital Mortuary – Mweiga on Friday 14th May, 2021, at 8:00am followed by a church service and burial session from 10:00am at their home in Kianyange, Gatung’ang’a, Mathira West, Nyeri.
