It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing on of Priscilla Wagaki, formerly of Carmax EA Limited and Executive Motors Nairobi.

Daughter of Daniel Muturi and late Marion Muthoni, step- daughter of Lydia Mukami. She is mother of Alden Muturi and Amelina Muthoni, sister of Esther and Paul, Alice and John, Beatrice and John, Jane and Gabriel, Maggie and Charles. Hellen and Richard, Prisca and Cate. She is an Auntie and friend to many.

Prayer meetings are being held daily at her parents home in Kabedera, Ihururu, Nyeri.

The cortege leaves Mathari Mission Hospital funeral home on Wednesday 02/12/2020 at 9:00AM. The burial will be held same day at her parents home Kabedera, Ihururu, Nyeri.

Son of the late Francis Nderu Macharia Kamau and Mary Njambi Macharia of Boston, USA; Husband of Jacinta Wangui. He was father of Joy Njambi Kamau and Nathan Macharia Kamau, both of Parklands Baptist School. Brother of Elizabeth Wanjiru Macharia; Libratech Versatile Solutions, Martin Mugo Macharia; Nderi, Pauline Wangui Macharia & Ben Kahura of Michigan, USA and Beatrice Wanja Macharia, Nderi. Son-in-law of John Mwando Karuga and Monica Murugi Mwando of Nderi village. Uncle of many and grandfather of one.

Family and friends are meeting daily at their home in Zambezi, Sigona daily at 5 p.m.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home on Tuesday, 1st December, 2020 at 8:00 a.m.

The funeral service will be held at KARI Muguga grounds from 10:30 a.m. and later he will be laid to rest at their Nderi Home in Kikuyu.

Brother to the late janeWangui Mina, the late Godfrey Kariuki, Benson Gichuki, the late Johnson Mutero, Ephantus Irumbi Murungu, Charity Wachira and Eunice Thunguri Macharia. Son in law to the late Samuel Warui Ndegwa and the late Phylis Nyambura Warui of Mungaria Village, Aguthi, Tetu. Brother in law to Charles Waruru, Damaris (USA) among others. Uncle to Stephen Maina Murungu and Shelmith Wambui Karanja among others. Grandfather to Nduta, Ngechu among others.

Friends and family are meeting daily at his home Gichira, Near Gichira Police Post for prayer and Funeral arrangements from 4:00pm.

The cortege leaves PCEA Tumutumu Hospital mortuary on Tuesday 1st December 2020 at 8:00 am for Funeral service at PCEA Kiriko church Gaaki parish at 10:00 am. Burial thereafter at his home Gichira near Gichira Police post.

He was son to the late Lucas Waweru and the late Lucy Wangari from Gitiha and son in law to the late John Ndungu and Margaret Njoki from Murarakwa.

He was husband to Caroline Njeri Mureithi and brother to Martin and Joyce Waweru (USA), Tom and Eva Waweru (USA), Lawrence and Winnie Waweru (USA), Peter and Sarah Waweru, David and Mercy Waweru.

He was father to Edward Waweru, Angela Wangari, Nichole Njoki and Everlyne Wanjiru. He was an uncle to many.

The Cortege leaves the Aga Khan University Hospital on Tuesday 1st December 2020.The Burial Mass will be at Consolata Shrine, Westlands at 10am, and the body will be laid to rest at his family home in Gitiha thereafter.

Sister of Eunice Nkanata, Late Joseph Kinyua, Francis Mugambi and Martha Wanja.

The cortege leaves Consolata Mission Hospital – Nkubu at 9am on Friday 4th Dec for Funeral Mass at Nyaagi Primary school and burial thereafter at her home, Nyaagi Village, Abogeta West, Meru county.

Step sister to Dr Chege, Naomi, the late Mwihaki, Mimera, Anne, Japheth, Paul and Ruth.

Daughter-in-law to the late Peter David Kagotho Kenja and Jane Njeri.

Sister-in-law to Dr Ng’an’ga, Miriam, Marion, Sarah, Alice, Monica, Simon, Michael, Njenga, Jacob, Kiama, Juma, Dr Lucy, Winnie, Damaris, the late Wendy.

She was a cousin, auntie and niece to many.

The 4th born of the late Johnson Kikwe and Elizabeth Nanjala. Baby sister of Beritar, Margaret, Agnes, RuthAnn, Rosylyne, Lonah, Dorcas, Richard, Ronald, Gerishom, Ben, late Francis, late Tom and Simon. Cousin of Mary Nanyama and the Rabbecca’s. Beloved daughter in-law of the late Patrick Muchenje Bakutile and Clementina Nangila Muchenje. Her humility, wit, sense of humour and love of intellectual sparring will be remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her. Jane will be greatly missed by her family and friends who were  deeply affected and forever changed by her presence and touched by her life, generosity, resilience and wisdom.

The cortege leaves Life Care on 29th November 2020, for an internment service at her residence in Syombe (Bumala Sub-county) and laid to rest on Monday 30th November 2020.
