Son of the late Ibrahim Okemwa, the late Jeriah Kanika and Bathsheba Nyababe. Son in-law of the late Mzee Sing’ombe and the late Omong’ina Nyamasaku. Beloved husband of Mama Yucabeth Nyaboke. Cherished father of Emily Bosire (Utawala Secondary), the late George, Lynet (USA), Collins Somoni (Mombasa), Nelly (USA). Brother of Martha, Prof. Meshack Sagini (USA), Samwel Mairura (Moto), Monyangi, Otema, late David, Hezron, Mairura, Abaya, Mogaka, Linet among others. Brother in law of the late Machoka, the late Nyaosi, Orina, Nyantika, Maranga, Dr. Abunga, Ondieki among others. Nephew of Late Sani, Late Mokamba, Late Onsarigo, London, Pst Mairura, Tong’i, Obwaya, Seneti, Ombati,

Cousin of Late Nyangena, Mosiria, Mokambas, Somonis, Ombatis, Fred Mairura, Mairura Ongeri, Mairura Nyaito, among others. Grandfather of Brandon Bosire, Hellen Ombachi, Bradley Ombachi, Cade Ombachi, Abby Somoni,Ariana Kolie and Aiden Kolie. Father in law of Bob Bosire, George Ombachi and Emily.

Main fund raising will be on the 28 January, 2020 at his Nyansiongo home and Professional Center Nairobi.

The cortege leaves Nyangena hospital mortuary on the 30th Thursday 2020 for an overnight vigil and final resting and burial at his Nyansiongo home.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely passing on of Mzee George Hudson Monari Ogeto formerly of the University of Nairobi and Savings Tea Brokers Ltd which occurred on 26th January 2020 after a long illness bravely borne.

He was the loving husband of Mama Teresa Bosibori Monari. Beloved son of the late Mzee Ogeto Nyarongi Ombui and late Mama Paskalia Moraa. Loving brother of Daniel Bosire, Wilkister Nyakang’i, Florence Mosero, Monica Kemunto, Moses Nyambane, Or Julius Ogeto, and Jane Obonyo. Loving father of Evans Monari (Bowmans) and Jackie Monari (NCC), Kennedy Monari (KU) and Karen Monari (Kenya Power), Dr Fronicah Monari (JOOUST), DrAmedi Mutuli (UoN) and the late Lillian Gesare, Geoffrey Monari (HELB) and Evelyn Monari (Telkom), Dennis Monari (KQ) and Eileen Monari (Kenvest). Uncle to Robert, late Kepha, Rodgers, late James, Philomena, George (USA), Ronald, Eugene, Roy, Douglas (CECM, Nyamira County) and others. Family, friends and relatives are meeting for funeral arrangements at Chui Room- LMS, Nairobi Central SDA Church (Maxwell) from 5pm on 28th, 29th, 30th January and 3rd February 2020. Other daily meetings are being held at his rural home at Riakumba Village, Gesima Ward-Nyamira County.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elizabeth Kabeyu Kamto which occurred on 24th January, 2020 in ICU Coast General Hospital.

Daughter of the late Marjory Meshuu and the late Charles Kazungu. She was the beloved wife of the late Mzee Francis Mwadzuya Kamto. Daughter-in-law of the late Salim Mwakombo and the late Mariam Mwakombo. Mother of Janet Mzungu of Swaziland, Florence Chifalu, the late Deputy Governor Kilifi Kenneth Mwakombo Kamto, Mary Kamto (USA), Jane Mkoba, and Harriet Mwakio (Swaziland). Mother-in-love of Fawzia Kamto, George Mzungu, David Chifalu, Collins Mkoba, and Paul Mwakio. Step mother of Tsuma, Vumilia, Mercy and Beta. Sister of the late Robert Lumbukeni. Sister-in-law of Chirindo Chimera, the late May Lumbukeni, Bakari Paita, Alan Mumba, Hon. Dr. Chibule Wa Tsuma amongst others. She was blessed with nineteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was cousin, auntie and grandmother to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Pandya Memorial Hospital and at their home in Bejana, Rabai from 5:00 pm.

The cortege leaves Pandya Memorial Hospital mortuary on Friday 31st January, 2020 at 11:00am for prayers and overnight vigil at Bejana, Rabai.

Funeral Service will be on Saturday 1st February, 2020 starting at 10.00am. She will be laid to rest in the afternoon at Mwamkwala Buni, Rabai.

Sister of the late Agnes Oketch, late atricia Genge, Benedata Genge, the late Austine Genge, Rob-ert Genge, Patrick Ochira, Benadus lenge, Colleta Genge, Kadia Genge and Mary Adoyo. The cortege leaves Aga Khan Mortuary Kisumu on 30thJanuary 2020 by 8.30 am for a requiem mass at Mbita Parish at 11.00 am and thereafter another requiem mass at Sindo Parish at 3.00 pm. Then the body will be taken to her family home in Suba South, Kaksingri west Ward, in Kamasimbi Village of Homabay County for a night vigil.

Burial will take place at the same place on the 31st January 2020.

May her soul rest in Peace.

There will be a church service at Nairobi South SDA Church on Wednesday 29/01/2020.

The body leaves Umash Funeral Home on Thursday 30/01/20 for the ancestral home in Ogango Village, Nyakongo Sub-Location, Manga Sub-County, Nyamira County. Burial will take place on Friday 31/01/2020 at her father’s home.
