Deborah Warue Njeru

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Deborah Warue Njeru on 18th July 2026 following a tragic road accident. She was a retired nurse who faithfully served in various hospitals across Kenya.

She was the beloved daughter of late Josiah Njeru and late Mariam Gachoka, and stepdaughter of Phides and Isabella Josiah. She was the loving sister of late Kenneth Ngari, late Jane Mulache, Lillian Nyaga, late Henrietta Mbura, Overseer Marion Kagunda, Eustace Ngari, Doris Kivindu, Catherine Kioko, late Henry Ireri, Rachel Mwangi, Harriet Mbura, late James Gitonga, Prof. Carolyne Mwangi, and Silvia Warue.

She was a cherished aunt and grandmother to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers at her homes in Kanyuambora and Ishiara.

The funeral service and burial will take place on Friday, 24th July 2026 at ACK St. johns Kanyuambora, Mbeere North, Embu County.
