Dorcas Akinyi Adero – Kabong’ah

It is with sorrow that we announce the sudden death of Mrs Dorcas Akinyi Adero – Kabong’ah of the Ministry of Health, Nairobi, which occurred on 15/12/2016.

Loving wife of George Odhiambo Kabong’ah of Kisumu County Government. Mother of Edwin Omondi (AAR), Juliet Awour, Lynn (Kibondeni College), Maria (Strathmore University) and Agnes (St Georges GirIs).

Mother-in-law of Esther Wanjiku-Omondi (AAR Nairobi) and grand mum of Myra Auma OMondi.

Daughte in law of Mzee Micheal Kabonga’h and Mama Agnes Abuor of Ayucha-Awasi Location.

Daughter of late Mzee Charles Adero and Mama Mary and Doris Adero of Uyonga Gem Nyawara. Sister of late Joseph Okeeno, Patrick Opiyo, Roselida Odiwour (Highway Sec. School), Judith Odera (Elgeyo Marakwet County Govt), Jack Omondi (Shimo La Tewa Prisons), Sara Aduma-KNEC, Evelyn Odero (Standard Chartered Bank), Beatrice (Nyeri Prisons), Emmy, Ken, Linnet, Harriet and Marion.

Sister-in-law of Eunice, Roselyn, Mary,Winnie (Nairobi Hospital), Agnes, Lynnette, Henry Ndede, Prof. Peter Odera-MMUST, Hon. Aduma Owuor (MP Nyakach), Moses Odero (Egerton Univ.), Peter Mulupi, Jacob, Paul, John (Nobel Retreats) & Francis. She was a niece, cousin and aunt of many.

Funeral arrangements are ongoing at their residence Makadara next to Uchumi Supermarket Jogoo Road and Awasi home.

A major fundraising will be held on Thursday 22/12/2016 at Railway Club Nairobi at 5pm. Burial will be on 31/12/2016 at Ayucha Village, Awasi Location, Nyando Sub County, Kisumu County. Prayers will be held on 29/11/16
