Dr. Alexander Kirugumi Gikonyo

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Dr.Alexander Kirugumi Gikonyo, formerly of Ministry of Health, on 07th January, 2017. Loving husband of Sarah Wambui Gikonyo. Father of James Gikonyo (Postbank), Robert Kamau (Rukanga), the late Alfred Mutonyo and Samuel Mbogo (Ireland). Father-in-love of Zipporah Gikonyo, Mary Kamau and Beatrice Mbogo. A Brother of the late Regina. Thuo, Gabriel Mutonyo,Veronica Mwangi and Benjamin Kamami. Uncle of Catherine Omare and many others. Grandfather of Nathanael Kirugumi, Sarah Gikonyo. Abigael Gikonyo, Agatha Kamau, famine Kamau, Constance Mumbi, Malaika Mbogo & Memsi Mbogo among others.

Family and friends are meeting at Magomano Restaurant, Tom Mboya Street, and Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church hall, South B, every day up to Friday, from 5.30 pm to 6.30 pm.

Requiem mass will be held at South B Catholic Church on Friday, at 6.00 pm, evening.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University funeral home on Tuesday, 17th, January, 2017 at 7.00 am ant burial to take place at his farm at Rukanga, on the Thika- Makutano-Sagana Highway. A.P police pose stage, Kirinyaga County from 10.00 am.
