Dr.Wilfred Nyambune Nyangena

We are saddened to announce the death of Dr.Wilfred Nyambune Nyangena of School of Economics, University of Nairobi that occurred on 17th July 2017 at Nairobi Hospital.

Loving husband of Concepta Nyaboke Nyambune of Kenya Commercial Bank. Father of Roxanne Nyambune, Paula Nyambune, Trevor Nyambune, Joshua Nyambune. Son of the late Mr. Aristarico Nyangena and Mrs Truphena Moraa Nyangena of Matutu Settlement Scheme, Nyamira County. Son-in-law of the late Mzee Nyachieo and the late Martha Nyachieo of Nyansiongo Settlement Scheme. Nephew of the late Prof. Maranga, the late Miriam Ateka, Justice Samuel Bosire, the late Hellen Ongwae, the late Rhoda Kwamboka, Dickson Mayogi, Ogari Orina, Charles Anunda, Charles Getanda, the late Esther Nyoimbo among others. Brother of the late Felix Ondicho, Philip Nyambega, George Misati, Christine Nyaboke, Anne Nyang’anyi, Sara Kemunto and Denis Akuma. Brother-in-law of Cleophas Ondieki, Mary Veronica, John Bosco Ouya, Phillip Nyakundi, Jane Moraa, Clare Kerubo Arita, Sheila Kwamboka Njuguna and Matthew Ndemo.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home at Rose Avenue, Kilimani Nairobi from 5.30pm. On 20th and 24th July 2017, family and friends will also be meeting at All Saints Cathedral from .30pm for funeral arrangements. The date of burial will be announced later.
