Eng. Andrew “Lemmy” George Nene
It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we celebrate the life of Engineer Andrew “Lemmy” George Nene of JKUAT University and formerly of KPTC who passed on after a short illness at Kenyatta National Hospital.
Husband of Catherine Wangui Nene. Father of Muoi Nene, Anthony Chomba Nene, Mary Wanjiku Nene and Joe Karago Nene. Son of Mary Wanjiku Karago and the late Samuel M. Karago. Brother of Josphat Kimunya, Rose Karago, the late Godfrey Kimani, Jane Karago and James Gitau. Son-in-law of Eunice Karimi Henry of Kithiriti, Kirinyaga. Brother in law of Mwai,Wachira, G.K. Kiboro and Karekia.
Relatives and friends are meeting daily for Prayers at his home in Lower Kabete. There will be a fundraiser today at Norwich Union Towers 7th Floor Room No. 3 from 5:00 to 8:00pm. The cortege leaves Kikuyu Mission Hospital on Tuesday, 25th July 2017 at 8am.The Funeral service will be at St. Paul’s Mother Church, Kabete at 11:00am and thereafter burial at his home in Muthure,Wangige.

R.i.p Eng. I was your student at jkuat (2008 -2012) and you modelled me to become who i am today. You made me see diffucult things in another perspective and all ended up eassy. You will remain remembered years and years for the lives of may young people you have transformed. May his soul rest in peace.
