It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Edgar Otochi Mokua on Tuesday 7th July 2026.

Son of the late Theresa Nyanduko Otochi and the late Harun Mokua.

Beloved husband of Anne Kilimatinde Mokua. Loving father of Terry Mokua and Irene Mokua.

Son in law of Andrew and Irene Kilimatinde. Step son of Joyce Nyang’au.

He was the brother of Grace & Zadarack Achoki, Jackie & Amos Kung’u, Michael Mokua and Emily Mokua, brother in law of Willy Kilimatinde and Jimmy & Linet Kilimatinde. Step brother of Irene & Moses Maina, the late Damaris, Wisley, Naomi & Peter Ongeto.

Nephew of the late Mr & Mrs Joseph and Pauline Onduko, late Mr & Mrs Sospeter and Grace Ocharo, Tom & Nancy Nyangau, Patrick & Rosemary Ondigo, Albert & Roseanne Otochi among others.

Cousin of the Ondukos, Ocharos, Nyangaus, Otochis, Aritas, Omagwas, Ochenges, Masakis, Bwanas, Masitas, Omwoyos, Nyarang’os among others.

Uncle of Kwamboka, Jeffrey, Alexia, Taji, Makini, Shirley, lan,Theresa, Elia, Aimee among others.

Family and friends will meet on Friday, 17 July at All Saints Cathedral.There will be a fundraising on Tuesday 21 July at 5pm at All Saints Cathedral.

A Memorial Service will be held at International Christian Centre (ICC) Mombasa Road on Thursday, 23 July at 12 noon.

The funeral service and burial will take place at his Loodariak Farm, Kajiado County on Friday, 24th July.
