It is with humble acceptance of God’s will and doing that we announce the passing on of Elder Simon Mwaniki Kamutu that occurred on the 22nd of December 2016 at Nairobi Women Hospital (Adams Arcade) after a long illness.
Son of the late Kamutu Kigathi and the late Leah Wairimu of Gathuthi Thegenge Location, Nyeri County.
Husband of Millicent Nyakwea Mwaniki of Kiandongoro Village.
Father of the late Charles Gitonga, Mary Ndururi of USA, the late John Muriithi, the late Leah Wairimu, Jane Wambui of USA and Samuel Muchiri.
Father in law of Wilson Wachira of USA. Dotting grandfather of many and great grandfather.
The cortege leaves Nairobi Women’s Hospital Funeral Home on Monday January 9th 2017 at 6am and he will be laid to rest at Kiandongoro Village, Kiriogo Location, Nyandaru County.
You will be loved and missed beyond measure by your loving wife, children, great grandchildren, family and friends.
I am thankful that we know with assurance that Grandpa is spending eternity with God. His life is an encouragement and challenge, and I am so thankful he was my grandpa and that I knew him as I did
