Elizabeth Njeri Ndua

It is with deep sorrow and appreciation that we announce the death of our beloved mother Mrs Elizabeth Njeri Ndua which occurred on 4^th January 2017.

Wife of the late Peter Ndua Gichiri of Mutomo village, Mutomo Sub-location, Ng’enda Location, Gatundu Sub County, Kiambu County.

Daughter of the late James Gitau Thubi and late Mary Njoki Gitau. Sister of the late Benson Gatonye Gitau, the late Grace Kibui Waiganjo and Susan Mwihaki Kamau. Mother of Gichiri Ndua, formerly of Kenya Ports Authority (KPA), Mrs Agnes Nuna Kinuthia, Mrs Teresia Njoki Mamui, James Gitau Ndua of Kahawa West, George Wachira Ndua of Mutomo village, the late John Thuo Ndua formerly of Malindi, Regina Murugi Waweru, Magdalene Wambui Njoroge, Paul Ngugi Ndua of KPA and Monica Wanjeri Ndua. Mother-in-law of Catherine Wamuyu Gichiri, John Kinuthia Kahura, Esther Wambui Gitau; the late Pauline Wangari Wachira, late Nellie Nyaguthie Thuo, Paul Waweru Ng’aru, Albert Njoroge Waihenya and Eunice Wangari Ngugi. She was a grandmother and great grandmother of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home Mugumo wa Njathi, Mutomo village from 0530 hours for prayers and burial preparations. Friends and well-wishers from Mombasa will meet on Monday 9th January 2017 at 1830 hours at Mombasa Sports Club for briefing.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home (KU) on Wednesday 11th January 2017 at 0900 hours for a requiem mass at St Gabriel Mutomo Catholic Church at 11 hours. Thereafter, burial will be at her home, Mugumo wa Njathi, Mutomo village.
