Fortunata Njoki (Nyina wa Lucy)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to glory of Fortunata Njoki (Nyina wa Lucy) of Muruguru sub-location, Nyeri County which occurred on 20th February 2017. Daughter of the late Mzee Richard Wanjau and the late Wanjiku Wanjau. Dear wife of Joseph Gakunga (former Education Officer). Loving mother of Lucy Wanjiku, Simon King’ori, the late Jane Wanjiku, Patrick Wanjau, Jeniffer Wambui and John Mbataru. Mother in law of Joseph Kariuki, James Kamunya, Martin Gitonga, Joan Wanjiru, Veronica Wangui and Esther Wangari. Grandmother and great grandmother of many. Sister of Pauline Wachera and step sister of many.

Relatives and friends are meeting daily at her Kihethu home and also at Kokeb Hotel Nakuru from 5:30pm.

The cortege leaves Nyeri Funeral Home (Outspan) on Tuesday 28th Feb 2017 at 8:30am for service and burial at her Kihethu/Muruguru home the same day.
