It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Francis Alex Kimangi Muindi on Friday 24^th February 2017.

Husband of the late Nelly Wanjiku Njoroge. Son of the late Paul Muindi Mwewa and the late Wanza Muindi. Son in law of the late Matthew Njoroge Kabetu.

Father of Matthew Njoroge, Margaret Nthuka, the late Vincent Maundu, Mary Anne Esikhaty and Jane Muindi. Father in law of Florence Njoroge, Brigadier (Rtd) Eric Esikhaty and Nancy Maundu. Brother of the late Michael Mutuku Muindi, Mbula and Munaa. Step brother of Mwithi, late Maingi, late Mutete, Adija, Musau, late Monthe, Kavivi, Kamene, late Katheu, Matolo and Munywoki. Uncle of Peter Mutuku, Magdalene Wanzau, Joseph Mutuku, George Wambua, Patrick Mutuku, late Teddy Mutuku, Martin Mutuku, late Gerald Mutinda, Henry Maingi, Paul Mwewa Maingi, Mannuela Maingi, Nora Musau, Brown Musau, Rashid Muindi, Alima Muindi, Ibrahim Muindi, Teresia Muindi, Fatuma Mutete ad Ndinda Muindi, to name but a few. Grandfather of Philip & Nelly Nguitigu, Elizabeth Wanjiru, Eddah Wambui, Christine Njeri, Ken & Wangui Njoroge, Nelly & Anthony Uwizera, Matthews Njoroge, Nicholas Nene, Isaac Esikhaty, Alex Esikhaty, Peter Esikhaty, Tracy Kaloki and Wendy Kaloki. Great grandfather of Marya Nguitigu, Danny Nguitugi, Mwangi Njoroge, Nthuka Njoroge and Njoki Njoroge, Keza Iragena and Riley Mutevu Odumbe.

Relatives and friends are meeting daily at Muthusi Estate in Machakos and at Matthew’s Residence in Upper Hill, Nairobi.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home, Machakos, on Saturday 4^th March, 2017 at 8.30am for a funeral service and burial at his home at Kalimani, Kangundo. Service will begin at 11am and interment will follow thereafter.
