Gabriel Ochieng Madung

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved Gabriel Ochieng Madung of Dovetail Limited on February 8th 2017 after a short illness. Son of the late Mr and Mrs John Madung Odanga of Unyir Ukwala, Siaya. Husband of Pamela Andia Ochieng of Baraka Primary School. Son-in-law of the late Shem Lung’aho and Esther Andisi Lung’aho of Mutzazi,Vihiga. Father of Sharon Afandi Rono (InfounActior), Mariana Ochieng (Strathmore University), John Odanga (South Korea) and Emma Ochieng (Kianda School). Father-in-law of Franklin Rono. Brother of Rose Nyakwaka (Canada), Wilfred Madung (Equitech), Angeline Okeyo, Michael Madung, Susan Madung, Florence Madung and Eric Madung (USA). Brother-in-law of the late Rowlands Nyakwaka, Risper Onyango, Maurice Okeyo, Janet Ndunge and Linda Adhiambo. Nephew of Augustine Halanga, Charles, Ida, Teresia, Joseph Odindo, Marjorie Schaunbela (Switzerland) among others. Cousin of George Okello, Michael Oloo, Raphael Oloo, Dutche Ogemba, Steve Umija, Michael Okumu, Stephen Onala (Somalia) among others. Uncle of Walter, Mariana (Germany), Kevin, Catherine, Rackel, Natasha, Johns, Maryanne, Adel, Emma, Christian, among others.

Meetings for burial arrangements and Prayers are taking place at his house in Buruburu Phase I (One) Kibuti Court House No.14 and Antonio’s Grill. There will be a funds drive at Holy Family Basilica on Thursday the 16th of February starting at 5.30 pm towards burial preparation. Burial date to be announced later.
