Hellen Wambui Gachohu (Mama Kamenderi)

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mrs Hellen Wambui Gachohu (Mama Kamenderi) of Kimakia Village Njoro. Loving wife of the late Samuel Gachohu Kamenderi.

Daughter of the late Mr & Mrs Njoroge Kigunyu. Mother of Margaret Gicharu, the late James Kamenderi, Njeri Kabaya (Sumkam Supermarket), the late Njoroge, the late Kiguru, Mary Gachohu (Kenya Airports Authority), the late Kamau, Esther Mugure, Susan Mbiri and Samson Ndung’u. Mother in law of Sammy Gicharu, Clement Kabaya, Mbiri Kamau and Lucy Wanja. Grandmother and great grandmother of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in Kimakia Njoro.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home at 8.30am on Friday 27^th January. Church service will be held at St Peter’s ACK Kimakia Njoro and thereafter a burial service at her Kimakia Farm, Njoro.
