Son of the late Gathige Wamote and the late Wangui. Beloved husband of the late Miriam Nyambura. Brother of Ngina, Njoki, the late Mungai, Njogu, Njihia, Njenga and Mwaura. Father of Sammy Ndungu (Ass. Director Kenya Metrological Dept.), Mwalimu Joseph Kamau, Margaret Wangui (Business), Mary Wanjiku (Formerly NIB), Eng. John Kungu (Min. Water & Irrigation), Benson Njogu (Coast General Hosp), Lydia Njeri (Business), Beth Njoki (USA) and Bishop Peter Thairu. Father in- law of Mary Wairimu, Mary Kamau, Njogu, Joyce Wangui (Min. Water and Irrigation), MaryWangui, Momanyi flight dispatcher and Rev. Miriam Wangari. Grandfather of Bancy – Housing and Finance, James Kamau – Kenyatta University, Benson-Nairobi hospital, Maureen,Ndung’u, Evelyn-School of Law, Mercy – University of Nairobi, Bismark, Serena, Sammy, Jimmy, Immaculate, Anastacia, Mark, Brian, Lilian, Brian – U.S.A, Antony – U.S.A, Ian, Michelle, Newton, Nazarene and great grandfather of many. Friends and relatives are meeting at Antonio Grills daily from bpm for prayers and funeral arrangement. The cortege leaves Umash funeral home on Friday 26th May 2017 at 8:00am. The burial will be held at his son’s farm in Ongata Rongai (Tuala) near Nazarene University and funeral service at the same place.
