It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mr. James Mwangi Wachira of Mowlem village, Makuyu Murang’a County. Son of the late Mr Joseph Wachira Kibui and Mrs Jane Wangari Wachira of Waihara village, lhuririo sub-location, Othaya, Nyeri. Husband of Margaret Nyawira Mwangi. Son-in-law of late Gichuki Gachara and late Muthoni Gichuki of Ndaragwa. Father of Jane Wangari Mwangi (North Carolina, USA), Damaris Muthoni (Kaganjo Primary School, Kiria-ini), Joseph Wachira Mwangi (Georgia-USA), Mary Wanjiku, (Kagaa Primary School, Kenol), Chris Gichuki Mwangi (New Jersey-USA), Simon Kiragu Mwangi (Georgia-USA) and John Muhia Mwangi (Georgia-USA). Brother of Mary Wanjiku (Kalama location, Machakos), Simon Kiragu Wachira (Thangira village, Makuyu) and late Phillip Maina, Wachira. Step brother of James Mwangi among others. Grandfather of Gabriel Mwangi, Ian Gichorio, Eva Wanjiku, Evan Maim., Elvis Mwangi, Jimmy Mwangi Wachira, Mark Mbutu Wachira,Teddy Babu, Tatiana Nyawira, Nadya Nyawira Gichuki, Nahla Njoki Gichuki and Nayra Wangari Gichuki. Father in law of jemimah Wachira (Georgia, USA), Judy Gichuki (New jersey USA) and Zipporah Kiiru (Georgia USA), Mark Nderitu and Franklin Murithi. He was an uncle and cousin of many.
Relatives and friends are meeting daily at his home in Mowlem village, Gakungu sub-location, Makuyu, and 417 College drive, Edison, NJ, 08817, USA for prayers and burial arrangements.
The cortege leaves Bishop Okoye Funeral Home,Thika, on Friday 13th January at 8:00 a.m. for a funeral mass at Ndera Catholic Church, Mowlem Village. Thereafter burial will take place at his farm in Mowlem.
