Son of the late Paul Ibirie Matindi, the late Ruth Wanjugu and the late Jane Nyokabi.

Husband of Mary Wairimu Weru, Brother of the late Matindi Ibirie, the late James Matu, the late Joseph Runyora, Annah Karima and Ellena Wangu Mureithi.

Step-brother of the late Samuel Matindi Ibirie, the late Prisca Karima Ndoria, the late Catherine Wachera Gachara, Hilda Kagendo Keega, the late Fridah Waruguru Githui, Ann Wandia Kiongo, the late Purity Wabera Weru and Millicent Wangui Mureithi. Father of Wanjugu, Kibiru, Gichuhi, Matindi, Mathungwa, the late Mugwe, Nyaguthie and Karima. Uncle, grandfather and great-grandfather of many.

Prayers and burial arrangements are going on at his home in Kairi Village (Island Farms) and Homeland Inn, Thika Road.

The cortege leaves Jamii Nursing Funeral Home Karatina on Wednesday 28/06/2017 at 9am for the burial ceremony at his home Kairi village at 11am.

It is the Lord who gives and He is the one who takes. Rest in Peace.
