Janet Atieno Oluoch

May 1974 – April 2026

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of our beloved Janet Atieno Oluoch on 15th  April 2026 after a long illness bravely borne.

Janet was the daughter of the late Johnson Oluoch Sure and the late mama Clementine Achieng Oluoch.

Mother of the late Onyango and Ian Randy. She was sister of Everline Otieno, Beatrice Okode, Margaret Ombok, Duncan Sure, the late Phillis, Yvonne Odhiambo, Newman Otieno, Alvin Omondi and Brian Ochieng.

Sister in law of Tom Otieno, the late Okode, the late Ombok, Everlyn, Alphonce, Anne, and Sheila, among others.

Aunty of Andrew, Edward, Barbara, Oloo, Adolf, Meshak, Michael, Steve, Brian, Councillor and Ernanuel, Yvette, Innocent, Leon, Kyle. Blessing, Tito, Kayden and Baraka among others.

Niece of Owaka, Lucia, and Priscila among others.

Cousin of the late Opiyo, Ogmdho, Ouya, late Odek, Emily, Mercy, Odhiambo, Otieno, Wiki and Kaki among others.

The cortege will leave Homabay County Referral Hospital Mortuary on 30th April at 12.30pm. Burial will take place on 1st May 2026 at Kwoyo, Mirogi, Homabay County .
