James Mugo Muraya

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of James Mugo Muraya.

Son of the late Peter Muraya Chege and the late Lydia Muthoni Muraya.

Husband of Julia Mweni Mugo and father of Peter Muraya, Lydia Muthoni and Simon Mugo. Father-in-law of Agnes Wanjiku, Alex Mbuthia and Rahab Njeri. Grandfather of Aviannah Kaylee,Tanisha Muraya and Adeline Simon.

Brother of Mary Karwe, the late Antony Chege, Pauline Muchiri, Rosemary Muraya, Aisha Dogo, John Kamau, Francis Ngumi, Daniel Muriga, Joseph Gaturo and Simon Chege (Step-brother).

Daily Meetings are ongoing at his home in Kang’utu farm Njoro, Nakuru.

The body is lying at Umash Funeral Home, Nakuru.

The cortege leaves the funeral home on Saturday, 25th April, 2026 at 9:00am.The funeral service will be held at his home in Kang’utu farm, Njoro, Nakuru followed by the burial at the same place.
