Janet Muchiku Mwangi

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of our beloved Mum, Cucu, Maitu – Janet Muchiku Mwangi. Wife of the late Mwangi Karigi (Kibuguigu). Sister of Paul Kibuika Kamau and the late Jeremiah Gachathi. Mother of Grace Mukuhi of Runguri Kagaa, Susan Wanjiku of USA, Anthony Karigi, Kamau wa Muchiku, Chege was Muchiku, Kibe Kibuika, Henry Waitheru, Anne Gatuguta of Kiambu, Veronica Wanjiru (Principal Gatanga CCM, the late Tabitha Njeri and Scolastica Wangari. Step mother of Joseph Nyutu, Maru Mukuhi, James Kamira, Solomon Chege, John Mburu, Susan Wanjiku, Irene Mumbi and the late Rosalia Wambui.

Grandmother of Prof Muthoni Musangali (USA), Jane Kimemia Franklin, Dominic Kimemia, Lucia Wairera, Elijah Mburu and Priscilla Gikandi (Saudi Arabia), Habu Mburu (CFC Bank Thika), Ann Muchiku (wa Mwangi) of USA, Charity Waithira, Terry Muchiku, Kui Mucara & Dr S. Kigondu of Murang’a Hospital, Muchiku Kamau (CDI Somalia), Grace Mukuji of UHAI, Nicholas Kadoo of France, Muchiku Solo of Germany and Moses Mwangi of Kiambu Rehabiliation Centre, among others.

Family and friends are meeting daily in her home in Ngochi Village, Githunguri near AIPCA Church – Ngochi daily at 4pm.

The cortege leaves Muko Funeral Home, Githunguri on Wednesday 8^th March 2017 at 9am for a funeral service at AIPCA Kahunira – Musamaria Mwega and later burial at her husband’s home in Ngochi Village.
