John Mwakuwona Mnjala

1939 – 2017

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to heavenly glory of aboo John Mwakuwona Mnjala which occurred on 2^nd March 2016 at his home in Mogho village. Loving husband of late Abigael Selina Wakisha. Father of Aggrey Mnjala “Buda”, Anne Mwashigadi, Mercy Kilale, Christine Oduor, Jackson Mwakaba, Dorah Mwero, Danson Mwashako, Jenter Kyalo and Harrison Gomo. Father in law of Alphonce Mwashigadi, late Arkwright Kilale, Henry Oduor, James Mwero, Anthony Kyalo, Maureen Swaleh, Esther Shuma, Priscilla Lughano and Judith Mwanyalo.

Grandfather of Abigael, John, Sandra among other 26 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Brother of the late Charles Mwamodenyi, late Harrison Gomo, late Jafferson Kalaghe, the late Obadiah Nyambu, Martha Wanjala. Brother in law of late Christine Kambale, the late Hannington Mwakazi, Crispus Mwalugha, Jenter Mwang’ombe, late Getrude Shuma, Jameson Mzae and Johnson Mghalu. Uncle of many.

Friends and family will be meeting on Monday 6^th March 2017 at ACK Memorial Cathedral Mombasa as from 5pm for a fundraising.

Funeral service and burial will take place at his home on Wednesday 8^th March 2017 at Mogho, Mbale Location, Wundanyi, Taita Taveta County as from 10am.
