Loving wife of Thaddeus Omari Nyaanga, caring mother of Dr Stephen Omari, Kennedy Omari and Victoria Omari. Daughter of the late Daniel Matara Ongera and the late Wilkster Nyakona Ongera. Daughter in-law of Jacob Nyaanga and Prisca Nyaanga, Chief Charles, Paul Nyambane, Ototo and Maria Kebuse. Grandchild of the late Elizabeth Kerubo Nyariki & Matara Ongera, Sister of David Ongera (Texas), Rachael Nyacheiga (Nyamira), the late Kennedy Matara Ongera, the late Stephen Obiero and Ombwori Ongera. Sister-in-law of Claddeus, Joachim, Clement, Wilfred Omari (New Jersey), Melanie (USA), Joyce (USA), Isabella (Nyamira), Clare (USA), Redempter (USA), Lydia (Kisii), Winfrida (Nairobi) and Charles Nyambane (Cos)(Nairobi). Niece of the late Matwere, late Philip Ngare, Nicodemus Asande (Gesiaga), Lucy Mandera (Nairobi), Josephine Ondara (USA) and Jemima. Cousin of DJ Bob Matara (USA), Asoneth Matara (South Africa), Carren Ondara (USA), Lydia Mandera (Nairobi), Christine Ngare (USA), Denis Abincha (Nairobi), Rose Ogega (Nairobi), and many more cousins.

There will be a fundraising at Garden Square on Tuesday 10/1/2017 at 5pm. The cortege leaves the US to Kenya on January 9^th 2017. Viewing at Umash Funeral Home, Opposite Armed Forces-Memorial, Mbagathi Way, on Thursday January 12th 2017. She will be laid to rest in Kisii on Friday 13th at her home in Kisii County, Mokuerero location, Bokemweri village.
