We, The Mundia Family wish to announce the promotion to glory of our beloved family matriarch, Mrs Julia Mukami Mbote (Nyina wa Nyoro) of Kagaa Village – Lari Division – Kiambu.

Wife of Joseph Mbote Mundia and daughter of the late Njoroge Kihiu and the late Murugi Njoroge. Sister of Muthoni, the late Wamuyu, the late Wanja and the late Wanjuru, the late Cendu Njoroge and the late Felix Kihiu.

Mother of John Nyoro Mbote, Fredrick Mbote, Jack Mbote (Githurai), Ruth Mbote of Kenyatta Road and the late George Kagimbi and Alice Wambui.

Mother in law of Rosalia Kagimbi, Naomi Wanjiku, Monica Kabura and the late Percy Njoroge. Auntie of The Njengas, Wairumbis, Marekias, Titos, Kagimbis, Kahuras, Igogos, Murayas, Wanjemas, Njehias, Ngigis among others.

Grandmother of Joyce Mbote, Nicholas Mbote (Asili Safaris), Mukami, Njeri, Mary, Njoki, Elizabeth, Tonny Kiarie, Wambui, Nduta, Mbote, Mundia, Bancy and Edwin Kagimbi, Joe Nyoro (St Louis – USA) and Rosemary Mbote – UK. Great grandmother of Mike Nyoro, KJ Mbote, Brian, Justin, Shiru, Stanley, Mbote, Kinyanjui, Giana and many more.

Funeral and prayer meetings are being held daily at Homeland Inn Thika Road from 6.30pm and at Mbote Mundia’s Residence – Kagaa Village. The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary on 7^th March 2017 at 7am for funeral service at PCEA Musa Ndirangu Church – Kagaa – from 10.30am and thereafter proceed to her final resting place at her home.
