Julius Maingi Kibaara

1962 – 2026

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announced the passing on of Julius Maingi Kibaara of Rwathia Farm, Nyahururu, Laikipia County. He passed on at Westlands Specialist Hospital, Nairobi on Sunday 19th July 2026.

He is a son of late Thomas Kibaara, late Grace Wambui, late Esther Wairimu and late Jacinta Wanjiru.

Husband of Mary Muthoni and dad of Evelyne Maingi, Brian Njogu and Thomas Kibaara. Grandfather of Amor, Aria, Pearl, Reinah and Nate.

He is dear brother of Edith Wangui (USA), Peter Karobia, Jjoyce Wanjiru (USA), Nancy Njoki, late Hiram Kuria, Geoffrey Kimani (USA), Teresia Wanyaitha, late Wilson K iiru, Alice Mumbi and Samuel Irumbi (USA), other siblings include James Maingi (Canada), Patrick Kibaara, Daniel Maina, Robert Kibaara (HFCB), Kuria Kibaara, Irumbi Kibara (County Government of Laikipia), Kimani Kibaara (Njogu-ini Hotel), Martin Kibaara and many others.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Niogu-ini Hotel (Mfangano Street), his home at Membley Ruiru and village Home Rwathia Farm Nyahururu from 5:30 PM for funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave K.0 Funeral Home (Thika Road) on Tuesday 28th July 2026. at 6:00 am for the burial at his rural home in Rwathia Farm Nyahururu.
