It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Leah Wanjiku Wanjohi, which occurred on 02/01/2017 at Outspan Hospital Nyeri.

Daughter of the late Benson Maina Kamoche and the late Racheal Waruguru Kamoche. Wife of the late Charles Wanjohi Tatua. Daughter-in-law of the late Watatua Muturi and the late Gathoni Watatua. Sister of the late Ruth Wacera, Tabitha Wairimu and Beatrice Wanjiru. Mother of Johnson Maina, the late Lucy Kariuki, Muturi Tatua (Survey of Kenya), the late Beatrice Macharia, Jemimah Gakumo, Millicent Wanjohi (Central Park Hotel), James Gachugu (KDF- Lanet), Muchiri Wanjohi Tatua (Kabaru), Dr. Richard Gikonyo (USA), the late Daniel Gichuki and Lydia Kimani. Mother-in-law of Wanjiku Maina, Eng. Kariuki Nyaga, Irene Muturi, the late Macharia Kiarie, Charles Gakumo, Mary Gachugu, Rose Muchiri, Dr. Lydia Gikonyo, Ruth Gichuki and David Kimani. Aunt of Ken Mutahi, Emily Thuku, Nyambura Ngugi, Lucy Gathoni, John Muturi among others. Grandmother and Great-grandmother of many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at Central Park Hotel, Nairobi, from 6pm and at the Family home at Munyu Sub-location, Nyeri County.

The cortege leaves Outspan Funeral Home Nyeri on Wednesday 11/01/2017 at 9.00am. Funeral Service and burial will be held at the family farm at Munyu Sub-location, Kieni East Sub-county, Nyeri County.
