Lt. Kennedy Opiyo Okeyo (Junior)

It is with profound sadness and sorrow that we announce the sudden death of Lt. Kennedy Opiyo Okeyo (Junior) of Moi Air Base Eastleigh which occurred through a tragic road accident on the night of 13th May 2017.

Son of Jabes Kennedy Okeyo of Kenya Aerotech Limited, the late Sabina Wakesho Okeyo and Mwanajuma Ngasare Okeyo. Fiancee of Abubakar Abdulai Yas. Beloved grandson of the late Andrew Opiyo and Japuonj Judith Adiedo and the late Mwadime and Mama Lucy Mwadime of Bura, Taita. Brother of Wendy Akoth Okeyo of JKUAT, Alvin Omondi Okeyo of Maseno School and Olgah Atieno of Komarock New Light School. Nephew of the late Charles Onyango, Olgah Dinda, Willis Onyango, Nellie Ojunju, Anne Osindo, Agneta Onyango, Scoller Otieno, the late Judith Mwadime, Mary Mwadime, Kevin Mwadime and Debra Mwadime. Step son of Lilian Onyango, Rose Onyango and the late Rosemary Onyango. Cousin of Nickson, Sharon, Allan, Raymond, William, Burton, Verney, David, the late Victor, Francis, Doreen, Judy, Mike, Eddy, Judy, Nina, Ben, Louisa, Phanice, lyvine,Vera, Ray, Queenter, Flavian, Bradley, Nicole, Nevile and Nauline among others. The body is at Shujaa (Forces Memorial Mortuary) Nairobi.

A fundraising to offset funeral expense will be held today, Tuesday 23rd May 2017 at Maxwell SDA Church, Milimani Road, from 5pm.

Funeral Service shall be held on 24^th May 2017 at Maxwell SDA Church, Valley Road.

Burial Ceremony will be conducted on Friday 26th May 017 at the family rural home in Kokuro Village, Kasdula Sub Location, Awendo, Migori County.

Ken proudly served his country and whose ideas and smile would lighten up the day and lift our hearts. Rest in peace
