It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of our beloved Lucy Wanjiku Muchai of Disciples of Christ Church, Lanet, Machine, Nakuru which occurred at Nakuru Nursing Home on 2nd January 2017. Loving wife of Mwalimu Patrick Muchai Kibiru (Kiptangwanyi, Kahuruko). Beloved mother of Elizabeth Wangari, Dennis Kamau, Elizabeth Karesi, Peter Kimani and James Maina. Daughter of the Late John Kamau Kuria and Damaris Wanjiru Kamau (Bagaria, Njoro). Sister of QS James Kamau (Nairobi), Margaret Kariuki (Nakuru), Nancy Kamau (Njoro), Dr. Paul Kamau (Nairobi), Elijah Kamau (Ravine), Kirika, Mumbi and Joyce Kimani (Nairobi). Daughter-in-Law of the Late Daniel Kibiru Kimani and Elizabeth Wangari Kibiru (Kahuruko). Sister-in-Law of Archbishop Meshack Kihara of Disciples Church, Ndirangu, Kimani, Monica, Kariuki, Njeri, Nyambura, Lucy, Maryanne, Martin among others. Dear aunty & cousin of many.

Relatives and friends are meeting daily at her home in Lanet, Machine and Kiptangwanyi at 5pm and in Nairobi on Friday (6^th January 2017) for funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves ,MediHeal (P.N.N.) Funeral Home, Nakuru, on Tuesday 10th January 2017 at 9am for burial at Kiptangwanyi, Nakuru.

Lucy, in God’s hands you rest, in our hearts you live forever. Amen
