It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mama Pilista Auma Adala “Nyaimbo” of Lifunga K’Obiero Village, Ukwala Location, Ugenya.

Daughter of the late Mzee Nyawana Oloo and Mama Mathlida Okello of Yimbo K’Adimo and Lubao, Kakamega. Loving niece of the late Mzee Ndeda Oloo.

Devoted wife of the late Mzee Benard Adala Osaho of Lifunga K’Obiero. Co-wife of late Mama Anna Adala & Margaret Anyango and Maria Aor.

Daughter-in-law of late Osaho Owiye & Herenia Oyenga and Mayamba Osaho. Sister-in-law of Mzee Nazarius Wandor Osaho, Mama Maria Wandor, Antonina Odindo, Paulina Obiero [all deceased] & Margaret Wandor.

Loving mother of the late Maurice Osaho, late George Adala, the late Calisto Adala, Patricia Adala, Monica Adala and Eunice Mbati. Step-Mother of Anastasia Wanyande, Amb Ochieng Adala, Marcel Odhiambo & Cleophas Adala, Margaret Ojuanclo, Jane Adala, the late Louisa Ataro, Dr Elias Adala, the late Elirabeth Omar among others.

Loving grandmother of the late Yvonne Claire, Oliver, Allan, Maurice, Adrian, Moses, Marcel, Luke, Austine, Armon, Lydia, Val, Phylli, Dama, Pat, Fanice among others. Great grandmother of Eve, Kyler, Josh, Cate, Gavin among others.

The cortege leaves Matibabu Serenity Parlour, Ukwala at 12:00 noon on Friday 24th July, 2026 for funeral service at Our Lady of Fatima, Ukwala Catholic Church.

The burial will take place at her home in Lifunga K’obiero, Ukwala Division on Saturday 25th July, 2026 starting at 10:00 am.
