We regret to announce the death of Miriam Njeri Mwangi of Githurai 44, which occurred on 16th May 2017 after a long illness. Daughter1 of the late Abel Kibuku and the late Elizabeth Waithera. Wife of the late Manasses Mwangi Muthaka. Mother of Irungu Mwangi (Kengen Seven Folks), Raphael Mwangi (Strathmore School), Agnes Mugeci Njoroge, Nancy Muthoni, Serah Wanjiru Mwangi, the late Joseph Macharia Mwangi, Elizabeth Wambui (Kenya Prison Lang’ata), Jane Wanjiku (Serena Hotel), Loise Wanjira, Peter Maina, Christopher Kabiru, Pauline Nduta, Richard Kamau and .the late Catherine Njoki. Sister of Mary Wanjiru, Peter Mbogo, Joe Kamau, Loise Wambui and the late Nancy Ruguru. Mother-in-law of Margret Irungu, Rose Wanjiku Kibuku, Peter Njoroge, Benson Mwangi, David Kiuru, Florence Munjiru. and Peninah Kamau. Grandmother of Ann, Victor, Kenneth, George, Clare, James, Susan, Esther, Antony, Miriam, Agnes, Fred, Antony, Margret, Kenneth, Miriam, Edwin, Brenda, Teresia, Ann, Cynthia, Faith, Francis, Eddy, Miriam, Ann, Agnes, Fabian, Ryan, Elmaila, Collins. Great Grandmother of Josiah, Veronica,Angel, Agnes, Lawrence, Bares, Everline, Everline and Felista. Friends and relatives are meeting daily at Githurai 44 wear Githurai Primary School for the burial arrangements. The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral home on Thursday 25th May, 2017 for church ceremony and funeral at her farm in aKanyonga, Mbeere, Embu County.
