Mrs. Anne Mumbi Mwai

We the children of the late Eliud Mwai Wahome, wish to announce the demise of our mother Mrs. Anne Mumbi Mwai on the 4th June 2026.

Mumbi was the daughter of the late Benson lrungu and his wife Julia Wanjiru and Nancy Muchiru of Karatina. Mumbi was a sister of Mary Nyakairu Mwai, Hellen Ngima, Lawerence Karumba, Margaret Nyokabi Kamonji, Catherine Wanjiru Mbugua, Agnes Mugure Njuguna, Dickson Kahoi, and the late Ishmael Ndegwa, Peter Mathenge and Robert Muriuki.

She was a loving mother of the late Patrick Wahome, David lrungu, Patricia Wanjiku, Charles Wahome, Evelyne Wahome, James Githinji and Lucy Githinji. She was a grandmother and aunt to many.

Friends and family are meeting in her home in Ngaini and at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi, Monday 8th and Tuesday 9th June 2026 from 5:30pm.

The cortege leaves jamii Funeral Home at 8:00am on 11th of June 2026 for the funeral service at PCEA Ngaini at 10:30am. She will be laid to rest thereafter at the Ngaini home.
