Winnie Cherono Ogada

It is with profound sorrow and deep sadness that we announce the untimely passing of Winnie Cherono Ogada. Winnie was a respected businesswoman, a cherished daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Koske, a treasured daughter-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Ogada, a devoted wife of Nicholas Ogada, and a loving mother of Alex and Arianna.

She was a dear sister of Gilbert, Lenny, Chep, Memo, Gideon, and Victor; a devoted sister-in-law of Maurine, Chris, and Bella; and a caring aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Winnie will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, hardwork, and unwavering love for her family, friends, and community. Her warm spirit, compassion, and dedication touched the lives of many, leaving behind treasured memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.

A Requiem Mass, followed by a fundraising event in support of the family, will be held at All Saints Cathedral on Wednesday, 10th June 2026, commencing at 5:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest at her home in Kandaria, Got Anyango Village, Siaya County, on Saturday, 13th June 2026.

Winnie leaves behind a lasting legacy of love, strength, and selfless service. Her memory will continue to inspire ali who were blessed to know her.
