Mrs. Priscilla Mukomaua Baariu

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of our dear mother, Mrs. Priscilla Mukomaua Baariu, which occurred on the 13th July 2026 after a brave and courageous battle with Gastric Adenocarcinoma.

She was the beloved daughter of the late Mzee M’mauta Kithati and the late Nculubi Kithati, and the loving wife of the late Mzee Luke Baariu. She was a devoted and cherished mother of Jane Kendi, Fridah Kananu. Titus Kaberia (Tiira Pry), Mercy Muthoni. Julius Ntoruru (Athimba Pry), Jotham Gitonga (The National Treasury), and Harrison Mwongera (Public Service). Mother-in-law of Romano, Patrick, Doris, late Kinyua, Lilian, Janet. Purity. Priscilla was an aunt, cherished grandmother and a beloved great-grandmother to many.

A Requiem Mass in celebration of her life i Awill be held at St. Mary’s Mission Hospital Chapel, Langata on Friday, 17th July 2026 from 1.00pm.

Family, relatives, friends, and well-wishers are meeting for rayers and funeral arrangements atLangata Royal Park Estate and at their home in Kirindine, Igembe South.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, 24th July 2026, at Ryenya Catholic Prayer House, Kirindine from 10:00 a.m. Thereafter, the cortege will proceed to her home for burial.
