, It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Samuel Kinyua Gathu formerly of Ministry of  Gender Sports and Social Services, of Mutuma Village, Kariko Sub-location, Inoi Location, Kirinyaga County. Son of the late Zakayo Gathu Mwembu and the late Tabitha Wangui. Husband of Rosemary Mumbi Kinyua. Brother of late Benard Ndinwa, Francis Mugo and Loise Wanjira Kinyua. Grandfather, uncle, cousin and mentor of many. Son-in-law of the late Suleiman Karani and the late Martha Nyawira of Gatwe. Father of Martha Muthoni Ngondi (Nairobi), Tabitha Wangui Macharia (Frere Town Sec Msa), Marion Wanjiku Mwangi (Kiaritha Sec. School), Zakayo Gathu Kinyua (Transport Kerugoya), Rodah Wanjira Kinyua (Director KTDA, Kangaita Tea Factory), Penis Wanjiru (Ramesis Enterprises – Mombasa). Father-in-law of Charles Ngondi (Businessman Nairobi), Patrick Macharia (Ramesis Enterprises – Mombasa). Ronatto Mwangi (Karaini Sec. Sch – Kirinyaga) and Irene Wakutai of Mutuma. Grandfather of Susan, Stacy, Racheal, Victoria, Prudence, Lawrence Senior, Juanita, Princess, Rita, Hellen, Rosemary, Samdarius, Geofrey, Lawrence Junior among  others. Relatives and friends are meeting daily at his home in Mutuma Village in Kirinyaga County and at Emaccra Hotel in Nairobi for Funeral arrangements. The cortege leaves ACK Mt. Kenya Funeral Home on Saturday 20th May 2017 at 8.00 a.m. for funeral service at his home in Mutuma, Kirinyaga County near Mutuma Primary School.
