With the humble acceptance of God’s will, the Ongolo family announce the unexpected passing on of Mzee Dan Ongolo Ogongo of West Uyoma Kokwiri, Manywanda Village, Rarieda Constituency, which recurred on 4th April, 2017 in Nairobi.
Beloved husband of the late Mama Grace Okeyo Ongolo. Son of the late Meshack Ogongo and the late Miriam Okidi Ongolo and the late Beldina Adagi. Son-in-law of the late Thomas Ombonya and the late Norah Bathseba Omolo of Asembo Kabondo, Mahaya, KOmbonya village, Rarieda Constituency. Lovin& and adoring Baba of the late Lt Col. David Owiti,Jane,Tom, the late Mary Ongolo, George, Rose, the late Wilkister Amadi, James, Judy, Mildred and Jack Ongolo.
Brother of Kefa Ongonga, Samson Aloo, Margaret Abony, Jectone Awino, Fanuel Odede and Addah Ogony'(all the late), and Cousin of Eric and Samba Okaya amongst others. Brother-in-law of the late Richard Sewe, Raila KOmbonya, Arthur Ogunde, George Buoro, Peninah Jaimbo, Jack Sewe, Godfrey Odhiambo, James Nyatuoro (all the late) and Anna Ong’ong’a, Rose Owii,Wilkister Adhu, Margaret Mboya, Alice Raila amongst others. The cortege leaves Nairobi West Hospital on Thursday 20th April, 2017 for funeral service at Sere ACK Church, Uyoma Kokwiri, Manyuanda. Baba will be laid to rest on Friday 2 I st April, 2017 at his home, dala K’Ongolo in West Uyoma Kokwiri, Manyuanda Village in Siaya County.
