Mzee Mwalim John Muiruri Kogi

It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will,that we announce the death of father Mr. John Muiruri Kogi which occurred on 30^th December 2016.

He hails from Nguthuru village, Muruka location, Kandara, Murang’a County.

Husband of the late Maria Njeri Muiruri Kogi, Brother of Naomi Kogi.

Loving father of Kogi, Kinyanjui, the late Njoroge, Wanyoike, Nyokabi, Wanjiku, Njuguna, Wambui, Wairimu, Macharia, the late Wanjiru, Wangari, Muturi and Njoki. Loving grandfather and a great-grandfather of many.

Family and friends are meeting at his home daily, at Coconut Grill Hotel Thika and at Jiweke Tarvern located along Kibera Road, the left turn after China Centre at the entrance of BP Shell/Station along Ngong Road, Nairobi, as from 2nd – 5th January 2017 at 6pm.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary on the 6th January 2017 at 8am for the funeral service at John the Baptist Catholic Church Nguthuru and thereafter burial at his farm next to Nguthuru Primary School Kandara, Murang’a Counry.
