it is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Paul Wanyiri Nderitu (Baba Wanyeri), who passed away on 3rd May 2026 after a long illness.

Husband of Lt. Margaret Njeri Nderitu. Son of Lt. Joseph Wanyiri Kimotho and Lt. Raheli Wambui, and step-son of Lt. Dorcas Wangechi.

Father of Lt. Moses Wanyeri, Lt. Rachel Wambui, James Karanja, Joseph le! Kimondo, Samuel Wainaina, Clement Muya, and Ngatho Matu. Cherished grandfather of 16 grandchildren.

Brother of Lt. Josephine Wanjiru Waigwaini, Johana Kimondo, Esther Muthoni Nyagah, Lt. Gladys Muringi Muturi, Lt. Clement Muya, Lt. Hosea Kimotho, to Naomi Wambui Wahato, Lt. Clement Njogo, Lt. Stephen Kiboi, and Helina Nyokabi Ndegwa.

Prayers and arrangements are being held daily in Sigona from 5.00 pm.

The final Si meeting will be held on Sunday at 3.00 pm.

Viewing of the body will take place on Tuesday, May 12th at Umash Funeral Home from 7.00 am to 7.45 am.

The funeral service will be held at 9.00 am on Tuesday, 12th May 2026 at Kenya Prisons Senior Officers Mess on Langata Road, immediately followed by the burial at Langata Cemetery.

He will be greatly missed and will forever remain in our hearts.
