It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Prof Isaiah Masinde Tabu while undergoing treatment in India. He was the Deputy Director, Directorare of Plannning and Development, Egerton University. Son of the late Jackson Tabu and Peritah Nelima. Husband of Gladys Jane Okutu. Loving father of Pamela Muyoka, Mike Wamboma (Were & Wambomba Masinde Company Advocates, Eldoret), Samuel Busolo (Cardplanet Solutions Ltd) and Joy Naliaka (Medical Student – Egerton University(. Grandfather of Faith and Merkel.
Brother of Dr John Simiyu Tabu (Moi University), Gerry Wafula (Immigration JKIA) Alfred Busolo Director General (AFA), Collins Tabu (Head, Immunisation – MoH HQ), Philip, Tom Wabomba (CBK), Mark Karani (MoH, Lugari), Wanundu, Bramwel, Mary Wafula (Hututu), Neddy Kimungui (Bungoma Baptists School), Margaret Tabu (Principal Maseno Secondary School), Sarah Tabu (Shitirira School), Violet Tabu (Kivaywa Primary), Fridah Nangila (Mabanga FTC) and Rose Khatoro (Eldoret).

Father in law of Geromano Mahinyu (Nyeri) and Metrine Jepchirchir (Eldoret).
The cortege leaves Chiromo Mortuary on Friday 20th January 2017 at 8am for a memorial service at Nakuru Friends Church (Centre). Thereafter the cortege shall stay overnight at his Baraka Home (Nakuru). On Saturday 21st January 2017, the cortege will leave for his ancestral home in Mabanga village, Chekalini sub location, Lugari sub county, Kakamega County. Burial will take place on Monday 23rd January 2017 at the same place.
