I write with deep sorrow to remember my friend Dr. Mwaniki Nick whom I met in Kampala. He was such good friend to remember. He invited me to his lavish home in Nairobi. I remember such time when we were enjoying ourselves and I almost Miss my flight. Rest in peace Nic.

To the family of Professor Dinguri Nick Mwaniki
I’m writing to comfort you for the lose of your loved one.Death is really an enemy 1 Corinthians 15:26.But Jehovah God comforts in Acts 15:26 “And I have hope toward God ,which hope these men also look forward to,that there is going to be a resurrection of both righteous an unrighteous.”
It’s really refreshing to know that death is not the end and Jehovah promises we will see our loved ones again

    Ann.

Dearest Family of Dr Dinguri Mwaniki

When I returned to Kenya from Cambridge in 1971 and started as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Nairobi and Research Fellow, I met Dinguri at a UNEp Seminar and over the next 4 Years to 1976, we worked together, including partnership in CODA, on projects including Kenya Rural Development, Kenya Economy Simulation model, World Bank Kenya Wildlife Survey Project etc

He was generous, caring, compassionate and most of all humane in everything he did in his professional and personal relationships.

I was not aware of Dinguri’s passing, until today 14 Dec 2021….had i known i certainly would have honoured my friend and very much a brother by being a Polebearer in Nairobi.

This week on 19 December 2021, at our Full Moon Ceremony, ( AM Bali, we will pray with a floral homage to Dinguri, for being an example of being Humane in everything he touched . For ever missed and remembered

Only today have I learned of Dinguri’s passing. Today is Jan. 11, 2023. The loss is palpable. He was my teacher and mentor in International Relations In Oakland, California. Dinguri had an enthusiastic spirit and a wide smile. He was one who you knew could impact the world for the better. A heartening and deep-felt example was he, and missed and remembered most certainly.
