It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will, that the Ochiemo’s family announces the passing on of their family patriarch Rev. Gasca Lipesa Ochiemo which occurred on 29th May 2026 at Vihiga Referral Hospital.

Husband of Rev. Jennifer Owendi Ochiemo. Loving Father of the late Eunice Ongoche, Byrum Tiema, Rose Orgachi, Dan lmende, Dorothy Atisa, Diamond Nyangweso, Vincent Mbeche and the late Everlyne Achando.

Son of the late Rev. Paramena Ochiemo and Nipher Achongo.

Brother of the late Josphine Anjaho, the late Francis Opanga, Friddah Omuseni, Joyce Atika, the late Swigger, Milton Ochiemo, Jemima Ong’ayo, Rev. Gerishom Ingati, the late Oripa, Rev. Dr. Burton Ochiemo, the late David Ingati Ochiemo.

Brother in-law of Snr. Chief Ruth Ingosi, the late Dr. Oluochi, the late Ambiche, Dorica, Rebecca, Ruth, Nicanory, Phylice, Clara.

The cortege leaves Vihiga Funeral home on Thursday 11th June 2026 at 10.00am for a church service at Elununi Church of God E.A(K) before the cortege proceeds to his Ebuchika home. The burial service will be conducted at Ematsuli comprehensive school grounds on 13th June 2026 at 9.00 am. The interment will be on the same day in his Ebuchika home next to ERAM academy at 3pm.
