Stephen Ng’ang’a Karing’u

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Stephen Ng’ang’a Karing’u on 19th April 2026 at MP Shah Hospital.

He was the son of the late Major Joel and Elizabeth Karing’u (R). He was a beloved brother of Rachael, Zipporah, the late Tabitha, the late James, Eliud, Joyce, Peter, Margaret, Sarah, the late Grace, George, and the late Joshua.

Stephen was a devoted husband of Catherine Wanjiku and a loving father of Esther, Joel, Elizabeth, Michael, and James. He was a doting grandfather of Leyla, Ayuub, Cedric, Trevvis, Ryan, Keenan, Aquilla, Alyssa, Jayleen, Elton, Kenslyn, Esther, Julius, and Malik. He was also a cherished father-in-law of Hared, Anne and Sheila, and a loving uncle, cousin, and friend to many.

Family, relatives, and friends are meeting daily for prayers at his home in Karunga Village, Bahati, Nakuru County, and at St.Andrew’s Church (Nairobi) on 22nd and 23rd April 2026.

The cortege will leave Lee Funeral Home, Nairobi, on Saturday, 25th April 2026 at 6.00 a.m. for the funeral service and burial at his Karunga Bahati Nakuru home, starting at 10:00 a.m.

“He has fought the good fight, he has finished the race.” May the name of the Lord be glorified.
