Virginia Mishi Njau

1939 – 2017

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the demise of Virginia Mishi Njau on 9th April, 2017.

Wife of Bernard Kiongo Njau (Munungi) of Ndumberi village, Kiambu and Kimathi Estate, Nairobi.

Former teacher at St Teresa’s Girls, St. Paul’s and St. Nicholas Primary Schools.

Mother of John, Ann, Charles, Mary, Edward and Telesphori. Mother-in-law of Justina, Grace and Irene. Grandmother of Gerard, Mishi, Nicole, Nathan, Dennis, Jimmy, Charlotte, Charles, Virginia, Jane, Gabriela and Edel. Sister of Singe, Sister Edel, Michael of Kenya, the late Matano, the late Marie-Luiza, the late Euphrasia, the late Machemba, the late Margaret, Bibiana and John of Tanzania.

Prayers and preparations are taking place at her home in Kimathi Estate G9 from 6pm daily.

There will be a harambee on Saturday 15th April from 2-6pm in Kimathi Estate Hse No. G9.

The funeral Mass will take place at Our Lady of Visitation Catholic Church, Jogoo Road at 10.00am on 18th April 2017 thereafter the burial ceremony at her home in Ndumberi village.
