Zipporah Jerotich Kosgey

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Zipporah Jerotich Kosgey, beloved wife of Hon. Henry Kosgey. Loving mother of Wakili Alan Kosgey, Charlene Kosgey and Hon. Alexander Kosgey. Mother-in-law to Wambui Kosgey. Cherished grandmother of Mark, Luke, Kina, Henrietta, and Amari.

Zipporah passed away peacefully on 13th June 2026 at Nairobi Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. She will be remembered for her unwavering faith, kindness, generosity, love for family, passion for gospel music, and dedication to serving others. Her warmth, hospitality, and commitment to God and humanity touched countless lives and will forever remain a source of inspiration to all who knew her.

The Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, 16th June 2026, at Consolata Shrine, Westlands, Nairobi at 10:00 am.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, 17th June 2026, at Maximum Miracle Centre, Ruaraka, Nairobi at 11:00 am.

On Thursday the 18th June 2026 the body will be transferred to her rural home in Kipkoror Village, Chepkunyuk Ward, Nandi Hills in Nandi County. The Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, 19th June 2026, at Kipkoror Primary School, Nandi Hills followed by burial at her Kipkoror home.
