Ayeiya Poa Poa was involved in a grisly road accident near Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA). He died on the spot. He was traveling in the company of his wife, actor Maina Olwenya, comedian Paul Wakimani Ogutu and a friend.

The requiem mass will be on Tuesday, 18/04/2017 at the Sacred Heart Mukumu Church at 10am followed by the burial rite at the Sisters of Mary Cemetery – Mukumu.
