ALLAN MWENDA KINYUA

14th November 1988 — 11th July 2026

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the untimely demise of Allan Mwenda Kinyua, who went to be with the Lord on Saturday, 11th July 2026.

The late Allan was a Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at the National Oil Corporation of Kenya.

Allan was a loving husband of Julie Wanjiku Mwenda and a devoted father of Theo, Evan, and Ryan Mwenda.

He was the first-born son of Eng. Kenneth Kinyua Mugiira and Dr. Anne Kinyua (UoN), and a beloved brother of Maureen Mukaria and Brian Kinyua.

He was a cherished son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Muthanji, and brother-in-law of Timothy, Gitau, Maureen, Eddie, Muthanji and Ivy. Allan was also a nephew, cousin, uncle, friend, colleague, confidant and mentor to many who were touched by his love, presence, humour and wise counsel.

A memorial service will be held at Lavington United Church today, Friday 17- July 2026, from 2:00pm.

The burial service will take place at the Gikurune PCEA Church on Tuesday 21st July from 10:00arn. This will be followed by the interment at the family home in Egoji, Meru.
