It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mama Bathsheba Magoma Ogwaro (Sister) that occurred on Thursday 4th June 2026.

Cherished wife of Elder Jones Ogwaro Bogonko.

The late was the beloved daughter of the late Mzee Paul Machuki and the late Sarah Mong’ina. Daughter-in-law of the late Ibrahim Bogonko (Raini) and the late Florence Nyakerario (Maonde).

The loving mother of Samuel Onwong’a (Uganda), Ibrahim Bogonko (Nairobi), Kelvin Nyambane (Uganda), Lilian Bwari (Nairobi), and Agnes Kerubo (Ogembo). Mother-in-law of Judy Kwamboka (Nairobi), Tricia Asati (MLKH), Naomi Barongo (Uganda), Douglas Onyancha (Nairobi) and Jackson Onditi (Ogembo).

Sister of Nyamache, the late Jane, Hellen, Floren, Joyce, the late Obobe, the late John, the late Manager, Machoka, the late Nyakerario, Nyanchama and Nyabeta.

Sister-In-law of Edward Mokaya, Victor Obiero, Japhet Bosire, Evans Ombui, Dickson Mong’are (all late), Moraa, Gesare, Nyabate, Mokeira, the late Ogeto Makori, Ombonyo, Geteri, Mokaya, Akuma, Obiero, Orandi, Joseph Mayieka (USA), Michael, Kennedy, Joshua, and the late Obiero.

Co-wife of Agnes, Kerebi, Philis, Moruri, Nyanchama, Eucabeth (all late), jerusha, Elizabeth, Nyamoita, and Agnes Makori.

There will be a fundraiser today 10th June 2026 at Professional Centre in aid of the funeral expenses.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home (Raila OdingaWay) on Friday 12th June 2026 for the funeral service of be held on Sunday 14th June 2026, at Kambini Village, Gesima ward, Nyamira County.
