The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home, Thika Road, on Tuesday 22nd December’, 2020 at 6am a requiem mass at St Theresa of the Child Jesus Nanyuki Next to Mot Equator Girls’ High School at 10am and thereafter the burial will be held at her home Nalanya (toll) Nanyuki Laikipia County.

He was born in the year 1943 in Uyoma Kagwa, Siaya County to the late Paul Wayamba and the late Angelina Bidha Wayamba.

The first born among 5 siblings; Karen Adhiambo, Vincent Wayamba, the late John Opanya and Nicholas Rabala.

Beloved husband of the late Pamela Adhiambo Walwang’a. A beloved father of the late George, Emilly, Elizabeth, Nancy, Anne, Mercy, Susan and Mike Wayamba.

A father-in-law of Oliver Oruko, Frederic Nelles, Kevin Ondiko,Wycliffe Omollo and Noel Dennis. A beloved grandfather of Rezia, Jayde, Nathan, Brooke, Treyvon, Abigayle, Allan, Tiana, Avin, Sophia, Robyne Pam. Blessed to be a great-grandfather of Amari Leo.

Mr. Wayamba will forever be missed and cherished by his Children, Family, Friends and all those who knew him.

Requiem mass will be held on Monday, December 21st at 2.00pm, at Holy Family Basilica. Funeral is scheduled for 23rd December, 2020 at 10:00am, at his home in Uyoma Kagwa, Siaya County.

He died at the age of 108 years. Father to the late Lt. Col (Rtd) James N. Kabiru, Bernard Ndegwa, the late Anthony King’ori, the late Joseph Wambugu, Jane Wangari (UK), Mary Wambui, the late Alex Ndumo (Jimmy).
