CPA Joseph Mwangi Njoya

With profound sorrow and gratitude for a life well lived, we announce the passing of Mr. Joseph Mwangi Njoya, who entered eternal rest on 13th June 2026 in Mombasa, Kenya.

Beloved son of the late Amos Mwangi Waweru and the late Esther Wambui; loving husband of the late Leah Njeri; cherished father of John Kangi (late), David Ndibui, Faith Macharia and Catherine Waithira. Father-in-law of Nancy Njoya (late), Patrick Nduati Macharia and Serah Sidi Farrar-Njoya. Grandfather of Martin Kiruka, Evelyn Njeri, Jessie Campbell, Elsammar Waweru, lcharia Macharia, Nayla Njoya, Nathan Njoya and Natalie Njoya.

He was the first African Town Treasurer of the Mombasa Municipal Council and Founder of JM Njoya & Associates, Mombasa, a respected CPA accountant, and was widely admired for his integrity, professionalism, excellence and dedicated service to the community He was a dear brother, uncle, mentor and friend to many. His life was marked by faith, humility, wisdom and exemplary leadership. Funeral arrangements are underway and will be communicated later.
