Elder James Wanjohi Gachanja

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that the family of Elder James Wanjohi Gachanja announces his peaceful passing on 6th June 2026, following a period of illness borne with great dignity and faith.

He was the beloved husband of Agnes Nyambere Wanjohi. Devoted father of Martin Mutahi and George Gachanja (Sons) and Grace Jackline Wangui (Daughter). Proud grandfather of Nicole, James, Milan and Aira.

Son of the late George Gachanja and the late Grace Wangui. Beloved brother of Gibson Mathu, the late Peter Muigai, Hellen Wanjiku, the late Samuel Kamakia, Marion Wambui, the late Gidraph Ndirangu,  Josephine Wanjiru, the late Dadson Ngunjiri and the late Zachariah Muibara. Cousin to many.

Daily meetings are ongoing at the family home at Captain Centre, 011Kalou, Nyandarua County.
